Language is a medium of communication. In India, where many languages are spoken, Hindi is given the status of national language. Not only does Hindi connect each Indian with one another, it also makes one feel that he is truly an Indian.
To emphasise the importance of our national language, Hindi, in the present generation, Suguna PIP School hosted an activity titled ‘UDAAN’ on 1st September 2018. Students of classes 2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8 participated in various programs like talk show, story telling, poem recitation and skit. Students performed enthusiastically and parents supported this initiative by taking on the mantle of judges.
Even in the 21st century we find in a developing nation like our country, girl children being ill treated and deprived of their basic rights. Female infanticide is still a concern.
In an effort to create awareness and as a call for action, a musical skit titled, ‘Beti bachao, beti padaavo - Save the girl child and educate her’ was presented by students of the different classes.Suguna Ma’am and Chandini Ma’am presided over the program.
