Handwriting competition
Handwriting is an important exercise for children, enabling them to develop fine motor skills and confidence. It activates the brain and contributes to reading fluency. Good handwriting is important as in the modern world, in all walks of life, people are judged by their handwriting.
To develop awareness and love for good handwriting, a competition was conducted on 13 July 2018 for students of Grade 3. All students participated enthusiastically. The students were asked to write one page in their best handwriting.
Bookmarking competition
A Bookmark Making Competition to promote reading was organised for students of Grade 4 on 13 July 2018. It was a fun filled activity. Students came up with very creative designs in different shapes and sizes. Original, creative slogans were written with relevant drawings on the bookmarks.
Poster making competition
Students of Grade 5 participated in a Poster Designing competition on the topic ‘Beat the Pollution’. This was held on 13 July 2018. Students had to come up with interesting slogans and appropriate, creative visuals to create awareness and educate the community.
